The Vienna University of Technology is one of the major universities in Vienna and the biggest Technical University in Austria. The university has received extensive international and domestic recognition in teaching as well as in research, and it is a highly esteemed partner of innovation oriented enterprises. It currently has about 26,200 students (19% foreign students/30% women), eight faculties and about 4,000 staff members (1,800 academics). The university's teaching and research is focused on engineering, computer science, and natural sciences.

Please give yourself sufficient time to get the necessary form-filling completed in time for your departure. The Local Organizing Committee cannot accept any responsibility for visa applications. Where a participant is unable to attend because of failure to obtain a visa on time, the normal cancellation policy for registration fee will apply.
