The Vienna University of Technology is one of the major universities in Vienna and the biggest Technical University in Austria. The university has received extensive international and domestic recognition in teaching as well as in research, and it is a highly esteemed partner of innovation oriented enterprises. It currently has about 26,200 students (19% foreign students/30% women), eight faculties and about 4,000 staff members (1,800 academics). The university's teaching and research is focused on engineering, computer science, and natural sciences.

Conference site

The conference will be held at the Campus Gusshaus, Gusshausstr. 27-29, 1040 Vienna. The lecture hall is called "Kontaktraum", and it is in the 6th floor of this building.

Accommodation

The university has an agreement with some hotels for a fixed price, but others are available.

Passport & Visa

Non-EU residents who wish to visit Austria for business or a holiday will need a Schengen Visa. Please follow the link to confirm if you need a visa for entering Austria. If you need to apply for a visa, please register for the conference, pay your registration fee in full and request an invitation letter from ICORS 2021 at icors@statistik.tuwien.ac.at. Do not forget to include your full name, passport data (country, number, issue and expiry date), date of birth and contact details (address to which the letter of support has to be sent) in the email request. Please give yourself sufficient time to get the necessary form-filling completed in time for your departure. The Local Organizing Committee cannot accept any responsibility for visa applications. Where a participant is unable to attend because of failure to obtain a visa on time, the normal cancellation policy for registration fee will apply.
